Marion, KY man accused of burglary at country club

CRITTENDEN COUNTY, KY (KFVS) -

A Marion, Kentucky man has been charged in connection with a burglary at a country club on Monday, December 14.

Christopher T. Freeman, 46, was charged with one count of third degree burglary.

According to the Kentucky State Police, the warrant was served at the Crittenden County Jail where Freeman was held on unrelated charges.

Police say he remains in the that jail.

A preliminary investigation into the burglary revealed that at around 2 a.m. on Dec. 14, an unknown man broke a window to get into a building at the country club. While inside, the suspect damaged a cash register and a surveillance camera.

Police say the suspect also stole food from a refrigerator and other, unknown items.
