First Alert Forecast shows pick day of the week, but still jacket weather

Make sure you grab your jacket before you head out the door this morning. It will start off cool, but don't expect to see any frost on your windshield. It will warm up by the afternoon with highs in the 50s and 60s. Brian's First Alert Forecast shows today as the pick of the week.

Making Headlines:

Search under way: Authorities in Franklin County are actively searching for a man believed to be "armed and dangerous." The suspect, 32-year-old Matt Lackey, is wanted for drugs and weapons charges.

Classes canceled: Administrators at the Carlisle County School District are telling students and faculty to stay home for the second day in a row. Classes are canceled on Tuesday because many students and some staff have become ill with a virus.

Proposed legislation: A Missouri state representative is proposing a bill that would take scholarships away from student athletes if they refuse to play. The proposal comes in response to a threatened strike in November by the University of Missouri football team.

Cleanup process: Crews on the Mississippi river near Memphis are working to clean up a big mess following the collision of two tugboats. The U.S. Coast Guard is on scene keeping an eye out for any fuel leakage.
