KSP investigate three vehicle accident with injury

DAVIESS COUNTY, KY (KFVS) -

The Kentucky State Police is investigating a three vehicle accident which caused injuries to one driver on Sat. Dec. 12 at 09:27 a.m.

The accident occurred on Old Calhoun Road/ W. Parrish Ave. in Daviess County

Police report John Reiners, 49, of Owensboro, was stopped at the intersection of West Parrish and Old Calhoun Road in a blue Ford pickup waiting for a hay truck to make a left turn. Dustin Brown, 29, of Owensboro, was stopped behind Reiners’ vehicle in a grey Chevy pickup. A silver Buick operated by David Hocker, 17, of Owesnboro, was approaching from behind Reiners’ and Brown’s vehicles.

The silver Buick hit Brown’s pickup, causing his vehicle to impact Reiners’ pickup.

Reiners was transported by Yellow Ambulance to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital.

Brown and Hocker, along with their passengers, refused treatment at the scene.
