A man has died after being ejected during a car crash in Union County, Illinois.
Illinois State Police say a passing driver reported a car off the roadway on IL North 127, about a half mile from Aldridge Road, around 7:18 a.m. Saturday morning.
The vehicle was apparently traveling north on Illinois Route 127 and failed to negotiate a curve, striking a tree.
The driver was ejected from the vehicle.
The name of the victim is being withheld pending notification of the family.
The time of the accident is currently unknown.
An investigation is ongoing.
