GRAVES COUNTY, KY (KFVS) -

Graves County Sheriff Dewayne Redmon says three people face charges in connection with theft ring investigation in early December.

Redmon says five people had been reported on various theft and drug charges after investigators searched the property of Jeff Spraggs at 1119 Old Pryorsburg Road in Mayfield.

Detectives have charged Keifer Clymer, 25, of Farmington, with 3 counts of receiving stolen property over $10,000 and one count of receiving stolen property under $500.

These charges stem from Clymers involvement in acting as a broker in arranging the sale of stolen trailers to a family member.

Officials say Clymers knew that his long time friend Ryan Jefferson was dealing in stolen merchandise.

Michael Chris Crider, 44, of Pryorsburg, has been charged with receiving stolen property over $10,000.

A warrant has been sought for Danny S. Kirby, 43, of Mayfield, for receiving stolen property over $10,000.

Crider was arrested after detectives learned that both of them were in possession of a stolen John Deere Gator valued at $14,400.

The Gator was reported stolen in Lyon County, Kentucky in late November.

During interviews it was discovered that Crider took the Gator from the Spraggs house and approached Kirby and attempted to sell the vehicle for $2000.

On Thursday December 10, 2015, the Gator  was found hidden in a creek bed in Mayfield near Mayfield Grain Company.
