CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) -

Missouri Department Conservation education consultant Bridget Jackson is set to present her personal photo display at the Cape Girardeau Conservation Nature Center throughout the month of December.

Jackson isn't a professional photographer; in fact, she said she only took up the hobby abut five years ago.

No matter, she hopes her set of photos, called "Oh, what beautiful things you'll see," will encourage others to unplug in nature and take a deeper look at the natural world.

"I feel like people today, even those who would consider themselves somewhat outdoorsy don't fully use their senses when outdoors," she said.

Jackson's photographs will be on display through Dec. 31 during the facility's regular operating hours, Tuesday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Cape Girardeau Conservation Nature Center is located at 2289 County Park Dr. in Cape.
