Good morning! It’s Friday, December 4th, 2015.

FIRST ALERT: A Dense Fog Advisory remains in effect through mid-morning for southern Illinois and parts of southeast Missouri. Give yourself plenty of time to scrape the frost from the windshield of your car.

Meteorologist Bryan McCormick’s First Alert Forecast shows it will be cold as you walk out the door this morning, with some of us seeing temps in the 20s. Looking ahead to the weekend: we’ll see a bit of a warm-up before the clouds move in for most of next week.

Here are some of the headlines KFVS12 is following for you this morning:

San Bernardino Shooting: We’re learning more about the victims, and the shooters. Stories from the victims' family, friends, and co-workers make the shooting even more real.

Active Shooter Training: Heartland police departments are getting more requests to help businesses be ready in case a gunman targets them.

Rocker Found Dead: Former Stone Temple Pilots front man Scott Weiland died in his sleep while on tour.

Operation Warm: Paducah firefighters give money from their own paychecks to make sure Heartland kids will have new winter coats.
