First Alert: Frosty this morning; cold but sunny by the afternoon

It is Thursday, Dec. 3, 2015.

First Alert Weather Outlook:

Your Thursday will start out cold. You might need the ice scrapper this morning, and if you're in some southeast Illinois counties you could even see a dusting of snow. It’s not going to warm up much with the highs in the mid-40s. But make sure to take a long your sunglasses because Bryan’s First Alert Forecast calls for plenty of sunshine.

Compromise reached: A suburban Chicago school district has approved a deal allowing a transgender student a separate changing area in a girls' locker room. The decision comes after the U.S. Department of Education's Office for Civil Rights ruled the district violated federal law.
