SEMO at SIU game had opposite outcome from year before

CARBONDALE, IL (KFVS) -

Southern Illinois University Head Coach Barry Hinson was not happy about the ending to last year's game, but this year it's a new season.

The Salukis have been on a roll, with only one loss under their belt.

Last year, the game ended on a whirlwind high for the Southeast Missouri State University Redhawks. A literal last-second buzzer beating 3-pointer caused the Redhawks to win by just 1 point.

For Rick Ray and the Redhawks, it has been a tougher start with four road games and still looking for that first win of the season, and Ray's first win as the Redhawk's head coach.

The Salukis pulled through in the second half and beat the Redhawks 74 to 50 on Wednesday night, Dec. 3.
