Local individuals and business have donated gift certificates, themed baskets and other items for the Friends biggest fundraiser of the year.

The auction continues during business hours from now through Thursday from 10 to 7 and from 10 to 5 on Friday and Saturday.

"Hundreds of individuals support the auction by volunteering their time, making donations and by bidding on the items," said Library Director Loretta Broomfield. "This auction would not be possible without volunteer support.
