Death investigation under way in Calloway Co.

CALLOWAY COUNTY, KY (KFVS) -

The Calloway County Sheriff's Office is investigating the death of a 51-year-old man.

According to the sheriff's office, deputies were dispatched to a home on 164 Kline Trail around 6:24 p.m. on Nov. 30 in response to a domestic disturbance.

When deputies arrived they found the body of 51-year-old Walter French, of New Concord, KY, on the front porch.

According to the Calloway County Coroner, French was pronounced dead at the scene.

The sheriff's office reports that French was stabbed seven to 10 times during the altercation.

An autopsy Wednesday morning determined French died from multiple force trauma.

As of this time, no arrests have been made and no charges have been filed.

The incident remains under investigation.
