GRAVES COUNTY, KY (KFVS) -

Graves County Middle School for the first time ever is represented in the Kentucky All-State Junior High Chorus.

It is comprised of the Kentucky Junior High Mixed Chorus and the Kentucky Junior High Treble Chorus.

Each chorus has approximately 200 seventh, eighth, and ninth grade students who are selected by audition from 1,200 students throughout Kentucky.

GCMS seventh grader Micah Hall has been selected to participate in the Mixed (SATB) Chorus.

Eighth grader Maci Green has been selected for the Treble (SSA) Chorus.

They will participate in two days of rehearsals. Then, both choirs will perform in concert as part of the Kentucky Music Educators Association Professional Development Conference in Whitney Hall at the Kentucky Center for the Arts in Louisville Feb. 4.
