Keep the umbrella handy - FIRST ALERT FORECAST shows cool and drizzly today

First Alert Weather Outlook:

Don't put away your umbrella just yet. When you walk out the door this morning, plan for cool, drizzly weather.That means you should keep the rain jacket close and wear closed toe shoes. Good news: we aren't expecting any downpours. However, Laura is tracking light showers that are expected to continue through the afternoon. It will be a mild day with highs in the 50s.

Making Headlines:

Rain impact: Watch out if you plan on traveling through low level areas near the Mississippi River. Minor flooding is expected for some Missouri and Illinois counties. 

Under investigation: A northwest Missouri man is dead after pointing a weapon at law enforcement officers who were responding to a domestic disturbance.

Behind bars: A man was arrested in Cape Girardeau on Sunday after he punched an officer in the face and ran away. The suspect is in police custody and will likely face charges for assaulting an officer. 

Due in court: The man accused of opening fire at a Planned Parenthood clinic in Colorado Springs is expected to appear in court today. This comes as speculation continues over what motivated the attack.

It's fading: A whopping 103 million people were expected to take advantage of online shopping deals over the Thanksgiving holiday, and continue on Cyber Monday. It's a sign that people aren't as excited about Black Friday as they used to be.
