Single car collision car leads to DUI arrest in McCracken County

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, KY (KFVS) -

McCracken County deputies responded to the 2900 block of Cairo Road of a reported motorist stuck in a nearby field on Saturday, Nov. 28 at 10:52 a.m.

When deputies arrived on the scene, they discovered Charles M. Love, 33, of Paducah had driven off of the roadway.

Love was driving a 1999 Mercury car and damaged a privately owned yard before coming to rest in a nearby field.

The owner of the property told police that the damages to the landscaping and sprinkler systems in the yard is well in excess of $1,000.

Love was arrested for DUI and on an outstanding warrant.

He has been charged for driving under the influence of alcohol, criminal mischief in the first degree and on a warrant for theft by deception.

Love was transported to the McCracken County Jail.
