Shoppers lined up to cash in on Black Friday door buster deals at the Carbondale, Illinois Best Buy.

More than 20 people were already waiting in line as of 9 p.m. Wednesday.

Many of the people in line say they're standing in line for the Toshiba 49 inch television listed for $150.

In some cases, residents turned the shopping experience into a family affair, by getting into line as early as 6 a.m.

"They are all the family we've got here so it's all good, you know we're all here," Kamia said.

The National Retail federation reports 135.8 million people plan to shop this weekend.

Nearly 60 percent of holiday shoppers had already started checking items off their lists by the middle of last week.

According to NRF, 80 percent of holiday shoppers — 183.8 million people — plan to shop on Cyber Monday.

Best Buy's doors are open at 5 p.m. Thursday to 1 a.m. Friday and again from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
