3 people arrested for alleged drug trafficking at Graves Co. courthouse

GRAVES COUNTY, KY (KFVS) -

Three Graves County residents were arrested Wednesday morning on the courthouse lawn after an argument reportedly concerning drug trafficking.

Officials say William Wilson, 61, Kenneth Edwards, 58, and Jennifer Dunn, 42, all of Mayfield, were at the courthouse Wednesday. 

Witnesses say Wilson and Dunn started arguing and cursing, alarming several people.

The sheriff’s office court security officers followed them out to the front lawn.

Officials began speaking with them about their behavior, and determined that illegal drug trafficking was taking place.

The drugs involved were prescription medications Hydrocodone and Diazapam.

Wilson was charged with trafficking in a controlled substance first degree - greater than 10 dosage units.

Edwards was charged with trafficking in a controlled substance third degree - greater than 20 dosage units, possession of a controlled substance first degree, and prescription of a controlled substance not in a proper container.

Dunn was charged with possession of a controlled substance first degree, prescription of a controlled substance not in a proper container, public intoxication, and disorderly conduct.
