Farmington, KY family resource center recognizes class efforts for Christmas Connection

GRAVES COUNTY, KY (KFVS) -

The Mayfield-Graves County Community Christmas Connection recently held a food drive for canned and dry food goods to be placed in Christmas baskets to give families in need this holiday season.

Farmington Family Resource sponsored a pizza party to be rewarded to the students of one primary and one intermediate homeroom who donated the most food items. 

Teacher Jill Dobson's first grade class took first place in the Community Christmas Connection food drive with 290 cans collected.

Teacher Michelle Oldham's fifth grade class took first place in the Community Christmas Connection food drive with 230 cans collected.
