POPLAR BLUFF, MO (KFVS) -

Three Rivers College has announced the creation of a Distinguished Alumni Award designed to recognize the achievements of the college's graduates and former students.

The award will be given out at a recognition banquet hosted by the college this spring.

Nominations for the award are now open, and will end on January 15.

"We feel like there's such a strong alumni base at Three Rivers, and it's time we start really showcasing those individuals who've used their education to make a difference in their lives and those of others," Michelle Reynolds, Development Officer at Three Rivers, said.

Nominations can be submitted at trcc.edu/distinguished.

Nominees must be a graduate or a former student of Three Rivers College. They will be judged on the merits of their personal and professional achievements.

A committee of college employees, members of the Three Rivers Board of Trustees and the Three Rivers Endowment Trust and members of the college's service area will choose the winning nomination.

For more information on the award, or the Alumni and Friends program at Three Rivers College, visit trcc.edu/alumni or contact Michelle Reynolds at michellereynolds@trcc.edu or call 573-840-9077.
