You will probably need the ice scraper for frost on your windshield this morning. When you wake up, it'll be a clear and cold Friday. The afternoon will be sunny, but still cool, so make sure you pack the jacket. First Alert: Brian is tracking a cold front heading to the Heartland on Saturday that will likely bring blustery and colder temperatures. We could even see a hard freeze Sunday morning.

Making Headlines:

At large: A manhunt is under way in Jackson County after a man escaped from police custody Thursday evening. Police are searching for James Bailey, who ran away from police after a traffic stop near the intersection of Haulage Road and Lichliter Road.

Under control: Fire crews were dispatched to a house fire in Marion late Thursday night. According to the Marion Fire Department, the home was vacant and the fire is under investigation.

Help wanted:  The SEMO Major Case squad is asking for the public's help in finding two boys who were allegedly kidnapped on Thursday. The Sikeston Department of Public Safety says the brothers are likely in the custody of their father.

Search continues: Police are still searching for a Reynolds County man who went missing after his truck went into the Black River on Wednesday. The Reynolds County Sheriff's Department is expected to resume its search early this morning.

Under investigation: The Calloway County Coroner reports two of the people killed in a suspicious house fire suffered gunshot wounds. Preliminary autopsy results show each of the four deaths as a homicide.
