Making Headlines:

Official word: Abdelhamid Abaaoud, the alleged lead planner of the terror attacks in Paris, was killed in the raid on a Saint Denis apartment, officials said Thursday. The French prosecutor's office said DNA tests confirmed the man's identity.

Calling for action: A Missouri lawmaker is seeking a special legislative session aimed at preventing Gov. Jay Nixon from allowing Syrian refugees to resettle in the state. Earlier this week, Nixon called on the federal government to ensure strong safeguards.

Under investigation: Police are still searching for a suspect after a suspicious house fire killed four people in Calloway County, including two children. Autopsies are scheduled for today.

Behind bars: The son of a man and woman whose bodies were found in the Mississippi River has been charged with their murders. Today, autopsies are being performed.
