McCracken County deputies respond to report of a vehicle running into a house

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, KY (KFVS) -

The McCracken County Sheriff’s Department responded to a report of a vehicle striking a house in the area of Hendron Road and Forest Ridge on Saturday, Nov. 14.

Upon arrival, deputies found that Don Peck, 68, of Paducah, was driving a 2012 Dodge truck on Forest Ridge Drive. Peck told police he believed that he may have had a medical event, causing him to black out.

Peck’s truck then crossed the intersection of Hendron Road and struck a house.

The house was occupied at the time of the collision.

There were no reported injuries in the home, although the structural damage to the house was severe.

Peck was transported by Mercy Regional to Lourdes Hospital as a precaution.

The Sheriff’s Department was assisted on scene by Hendron Fire/Rescue, Mercy Regional and Affordable Towing.
