Southeast suspends 2 basketball players for 2 games

CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) -

The Southeast Missouri State basketball team will be without a couple of its players for a pair of season-opening games.

Redshirt-junior forward Trey Kellum and sophomore guard/forward Ladarius Coleman will miss SEMO's first two games this season.

Kellum and Coleman are suspended for the road matchups at Dayton on Nov. 13 and Evansville on Nov. 15 due to "a violation of departmental policies and procedures" that happened during the 2014-15 academic year.

Southeast will have Kellum and Coleman back for its game at Alabama A&M on Nov. 19.
