CHARLESTON, MO (KFVS) -

The Charleston Middle School will host "Dunkin' with Dads (and Other Important Men" on Nov. 19 at 6 p.m.

The event is for grades pre-K to 8th.

Organizers say all students, including those from neighboring towns or schools, are welcome to attend. It is open to the community, and all students must be accompanied by an adult.

The guest speaker will be Coach Alfred Marshall, former coach and member of the Marshall family, who have been long-time contributors to Charleston R-1 athletics.

There will also be open-gym basketball, activities, pizza and refreshments, along with door prizes. These are all at no cost to participants.

Organizers say the event seeks to celebrate fatherhood, male role models, local student sports opportunities and Charleston R-1 sports.
