MO firearms deer season begins Nov. 14

MISSOURI (KFVS) -

Missouri's November portion of firearms deer season begins on Saturday, November 14 and continues through Tuesday, November 24.

One antlered deer may be taken during the entire firearms season, which includes the November portion and both youth portions. There are no antler point restrictions for counties in the immediate southeast Missouri region of the state.

You may purchase antlerless permits, but each county or county section has a limit on the number of antlerless permits you may fill.

You may fill one additional firearms antlerless deer hunting permit in the following localized southeast Missouri counties: Cape Girardeau, Perry, Ste. Genevieve, St. Francois and Ripley.

No additional antlerless permits may be filled in the following localized southeast Missouri counties: Bollinger, Butler, Carter, Dunklin, Iron, Madison, Mississippi, New Madrid, Pemiscot, Reynolds, Scott, Stoddard and Wayne.

The firearms, antlerless portion of the Missouri Deer Season, which runs from November 25 through December 6, is closed to all of our localized southeast Missouri counties.
