Meth investigation leads to 3 arrests

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, KY (KFVS) -

An investigation that began Nov. 9 resulted in the arrest of 3 Paducah residents.

Justin Goad, 26,was charged with trafficking methamphetamine over 2 grams.

Rachel Green, 26, was charged with complicity of trafficking methamphetamine over 2 grams.

Joshua Riley, 35, was charged with trafficking methamphetamine over 2 grams, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

During the operation, detectives purchased approximately 7.5 grams of crystal methamphetamine from Goad.

Two other individuals were actively assisting Goad in the sale of the methamphetamine.

During the investigation, detectives learned that Green had brought her three-month-old infant daughter to the methamphetamine transaction.

During the transaction, Riley provided Green a methamphetamine pipe and Green smoked meth inside the vehicle, in which her infant daughter was found in a car seat.

Greens three-month-old daughter was taken to a local emergency room by a family member as a precautionary measure to be treated for exposure to the methamphetamine.

All three individuals are in custody at the McCracken County Regional Jail.

The investigation was a joint investigation conducted by the McCracken County Sheriff’s Department, Paducah Police Department, and Marshall County Sheriff’s Office.
