GRAVES COUNTY, KY (KFVS) -

“Starry, Starry Night” in recent years has been the title of an annual show Graves County High School students have presented.

Each year’s presentation has varied in content, but always has featured great quality entertainment.

The show’s title is inspired by Dutch artist Vincent Van Gogh’s famous 1889 painting “The Starry Night” and folk-pop singer-songwriter Don McLean’s 1971 hit song “Vincent,” whose alternate title is “Starry, Starry Night.”

This year’s “Starry, Starry Night” show features both choral and orchestral music and some surprises at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 14.

It takes place in the Graves County Schools’ performing arts center, located adjacent to Graves County High School at the entrance nearest Ky. Highway 121 North in Mayfield.

Tickets currently are on sale and will be available at the door as well, starting at 6 p.m.

They’re priced at $5 for adults and $3 for students. Since the show is part of the Season Event Series, season tickets will be honored.

For tickets or to learn more, phone PAC director Casey Jones at 270-970-3416 or email her at casey.jones@graves.kyschools.us.
