KRCU Koffee to Salute Veterans

CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) -

KRCU Public Radio and the College of Health and Human Services at Southeast Missouri State University, will honor area veterans at a special KRCU Koffee on Wednesday, November 11 at VFW Post #3838.

The program will begin with a welcome by Dr. Morris Jenkins, dean of the College of Health and Human Services and a veteran of the U.S. Army and U.S. Marine Corps.

The keynote speaker is Dr. Wayne Bowen.

Dr. Bowen is chair of the Department of History and a member of Cape Girardeau's City Council.

He is a colonel in the U.S. Army Reserve and served in the Iraq War.

There is no cost to attend the KRCU Koffee.

All veterans and their families are welcome to attend.

Breakfast items will be provided by My Daddy's Cheesecake and Starbucks will provide the coffee.
