The ceremony will honor veterans of all American and foreign wars, conflicts, and military operations.
For the 24 hours preceding the event, a combined operation of more than 100 members of the university's Air Force and Army ROTC will conduct a tradition honoring those who have served.
Cadets will stand a silent vigil beginning at 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 10, at the Old Main Flagpole in remembrance of the nation's prisoners of war and those who remain missing in action.
The guard will change every 15 minutes.
Retired Air Force Lt. Col. Paul S. Copeland, former commander of the 323rd Training Squadron at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas, will present the keynote address.
The Veterans Memorial Plaza is at the intersection of East Main and South Washington Streets, just south of the town square.
If it rains, the ceremony will move across the street to the City Pavilion.
