WEAKLEY COUNTY, TN (KFVS) -

Two men are accused of "scamming money" from an elderly woman near Gleason, Tennessee.

Clarence Lyward Worley, 49, and Richard Dave Chamberlain, 44, were charged with theft over $1,000.

According to investigators with the Weakley County Sheriff's Department, in July the men quoted the woman a price of $300 to pressure-wash her house.

Investigators say they then charged her $4,800 after the work was finished.

They say the men left one person with her while they took her check to an area bank and cashed it.

Weakly Co. investigators got grand jury indictments for Worley and learned he was living in Mississippi.

Worley was arrested in Walls, Mississippi by DeSoto County, Mississippi sheriff's deputies.

Chamberlain was arrested in Greenfield, Tenn. by deputies after a grand jury indictment was issued for him also.
