Southeast hosts 'Show Me Day' for prospective students

CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) - Southeast Missouri State University will be hosting a "Show Me Day" for prospective students on Nov. 14 and 16.

The purpose of these events is so possible future Redhawks can tour the campus and see the various academic avenues and services offered at Southeast.

After registering for the event, students are invited to participate in a fair, which begins at 9:30 a.m.

At the fair, they will have the opportunity to meet students and staff from several departments on campus, including Campus Ministries, Career Linkages, Dining Services, Greek Life, Academic Support Centers, Residence Life and the Honors Program.

At 10 a.m. there will be a presentation by the director of Admissions, as well as an introduction of Southeasts Admissions staff and student leaders.

An "Academic Fair" will kick off after that in the Student Recreation Center East Gym. There, students can meet with faculty from the numerous academic departments at the university.
