Semo soccer moves on to semifinals in Ohio Valley Conference tournament

(KFVS) - The Semo Redhawks proved that they will weather whatever is thrown their way.

In a game where the weather was wet and dreary, the woman's soccer team continued to push and fought their way to a victory over Jacksonville State 4 to 3 in 2 overtimes and penalty kicks.

Scoring for the Redhawks was Maddy Cornell, Christina Rhode, and Jennifer Antonacci.  Sophomore goalie Kindra Lierz was dominate, with 6 saves.

With this win, the Redhawks move on to the semifinals and will play Tennessee Tech next Friday, November 6th.
