Paducah man injured in Livingston Co. shooting

LIVINGSTON COUNTY, KY (KFVS) -

A Paducah man was injured Friday in an apparent shooting in Livingston County.

The Kentucky State Police reportedly received a call reporting a shooting on Heater Store Road in Livingston County in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Upon arrival, KSP learned that Aaron N. Wilson, 20, of Paducah, KY, had been shot in the hand. 

Wilson was flown to Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn. where he was treated and released for his injuries. 

The shooter was identified as a 17 year old juvenile. 

The juvenile was lodged in the McCracken Regional Juvenile Detention Center after being charged with assault and five counts of wanton endangerment.

KSP was assisted on the scene by the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office and the Livingston County EMS.
