2 teens injured after hit by car in Jackson, MO

JACKSON, MO (KFVS) -

Two people were seriously injured on Saturday after being hit by vehicle in Jackson, Missouri.

According to Jackson Police Captain Rodney Barnes, two teen boys, ages 14 and 16, were walking near the gas station on E. Jackson Blvd. when they attempted to cross the road, and were hit by a vehicle. 

Both were taken to Saint Francis Hospital with serious injuries.

The 16-year-old reportedly suffered severe trauma and was taken to Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital in St. Louis, while the other victim remained at Saint Francis with non life-threatening injuries.
