First Alert: Grab the jacket; cool temps will stick around today

It is Thursday, Oct. 29, 2015.

First Alert Weather Outlook:

Good news! There's no rain on the First Alert Radar, but get those jackets and sweatshirts out. It’s going to be dry but cool with temps in the 40s as you head out for school and work this morning. It's going to warm up a touch, with highs in the mid-50s by this afternoon. The Halloween First Alert Forecast is still iffy, with rain chances high. It’s just when that rain will happen, and if it will dampen trick-or-treating that’s in the air.

Making Headlines:

Fatal Crash: A teenager was killed and another was seriously injured after a crash on Route B, about 1 mile south of Campbell. A 16-year-old died from her injuries after being ejected from a motorcycle.

Amber Alert: The Knoxville Police Department is looking for 2-year-old Brooklynne Emerie Enix. Police believe Brooklynne might be with her father who has been charged in the death of Brooklynne's mother.

Search continues: An armed and dangerous suspect who sparked an intense manhunt in Kentucky and Tennessee escaped police again. Late last nigh, authorities tried to capture Floyd Cook is wanted for shooting a police officer in Tennessee last weekend.

Recall Alert: Epinephrine injection pens under the brand name Auvi-Q, used to treat deadly allergic reactions, are being recalled over dosage concerns.
