This week in country music: 2012

(KFVS) - Let's turn back the clock and check out the music scene from three years ago.

This morning we're checking the country music charts from this week in 2012.

Billboard Magazine had Lee Brice at number five with "Hard to Love."

Checking in at number four was Hunter Hayes with "Wanted." At the time it was the second best selling song ever released by a solo country artist.

In the number three spot was "Cruise" by Florida Georgia Line. That song is credited with  the rise of "bro-country," a musical trend that combines rock, rap and country music.

At number 2 was Carrie Underwood with "Blown Away," which would go on to become Underwood's 13th number one country chart topper.

And in the top spot was "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" by Taylor Swift. The song is one of the best-selling singles worldwide, with sales reaching 7 million copies.
