Man, woman arrested in connection with Steele armed robbery

STEELE, MO (KFVS) -

A man and woman from Park Hills, Missouri were arrested in connection with an armed robbery investigation.

Nikki Williams, 21, and Trever Grice, 25, were charged with first degree robbery, armed criminal action, unlawful use of a weapon and first degree burglary.

According to Steele Police Chief Billy Joe Stanfield, on Oct. 26, a man from French Village, Mo. reported that he had been robbed at gunpoint at a vacant home on Liberty Street in Steele. The victim said the suspects robbed him of a large amount of money.

Officers were able to identify the two suspects as Williams and Grice, both from Park Hills, Mo.

According to Chief Standfield, officers found Williams and Grice at a motel in Kennett.

Kennett officers then arrested them and seized a large amount of cash from the suspects' room.

Williams and Grice are being held in the Pemiscot County Jail, each on a $200,000 bond.
