GRAVES COUNTY, KY (KFVS) -

KY 1748 East in Graves County is back open after a semi overturned Tuesday morning.

It happened between Old Dukedom Road and Alton Road, about 3 miles east of Pryorsburg, according to the Graves County Sheriff's Office.

According to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, the overturned semi was hauling lumber.

Sheriff's deputies say 31-year-old Robert Guyon, of Prattville, Ala., was driving a fully loaded semi with a flatbed trailer eastbound on KY 1748. They say the semi and trailer dropped off of the right shoulder of the road, which caused the load on the trailer to shift and the semi and trailer to rollover onto its passenger side.

Guyon was able to free himself from the vehicle. He was taken to an area hospital by ambulance with minor injuries.

Deputies say the road was closed for more than 5 hours while crews cleaned up the spilled plywood.

The sheriff's office was assisted at the scene by the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet.
