Man facing DUI charge after Graves Co. crash

GRAVES COUNTY, KY (KFVS) - A man is facing DUI charges after a crash on State Route 381 in Graves County, Kentucky.

Michael Frazier, 51, was charged with DUI third and reckless driving.

According to Graves County Sheriff Dewayne Redmon, deputies responded to a single vehicle crash at around 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 26 in the 3000 block of State Route 381.

Sheriff Redmon said a caller reported that the truck had hit a utility pole and had flipped.

Deputies arrived on scene and talked to the driver, Frazier.

He told them he was driving south along State Route 381 when his truck went off the road, hit a concrete culvert and he lost control.

Frazier allegedly admitted that he had been texting at the time of the crash and had allegedly drank alcoholic beverages earlier that night.

After being checked over by Mayfield EMS, Frazier was arrested and taken to the Graves County Jail.

Deputies say a section of State Route 381 was closed while a new utility pole was put up.
