COPY-Ohio Farm Bureau leader stepping down after nearly 20 years

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - The Ohio Farm Bureau Federation is searching for a new leader for the first time in nearly 20 years.

Jack Fisher, the group's longtime executive vice president, is retiring from his post with the state's largest farm organization.

Fisher has been the Ohio Farm Bureau's executive vice president since 1996.

Before that he held leadership roles with the Ohio Department of Agriculture, the Illinois Corn Growers Association and the Illinois Farm Bureau.

The Ohio Farm Bureau says it hopes to have Fisher's replacement in place by the middle of next year.
