Salvation Army seeking Annual Thanksgiving Dinner donations

CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) -

The Salvation Army is hosting its "Annual Thanksgiving Dinner" on Nov. 26. 

They are seeking donations and volunteers for the dinner. 

The dinner will be held on Thanksgiving Day on Nov. 26 from 11 a.m. through 2 p.m.

It serves more than 1800 Cape Girardeau County residents on Thanksgiving.

Donations requested by the Salvation Army:

  • Turkeys and hams
  • mashed potatoes and gravy
  • sweet potatoes
  • green beans
  • dressing/stuffing
  • rolls
  • cranberry sauce
  • celery
  • onions
  • marshmallows
  • brown sugar
  • butter
  • steam table pans (aluminum)
  • large aluminum foil
  • small aluminum foil
  • small cups (8oz)
  • salt and pepper shakers
  • salt and pepper, individual packages
  • paper products for carryout meals
  • silverware
  • napkins
