First Alert: Warming trend continues today; no break from the dry weather just yet

It is Tuesday, Oct. 20.

First Alert Weather Outlook:

Grab the lip balm and the lotion today. Your First Alert Forecast doesn't show any sort of break from the dry weather. When you walk out the door this morning, you’ll need a jacket, but by this afternoon you can leave it behind. The warming trend will heat us up to the mid-70s today, and possibly to 80 by Thursday.

Making headlines:

Manhunt underway: Authorities are searching right now for an armed and dangerous man after he allegedly shot at a Cambria police officer late Monday night. The suspect is identified as Billy Jearlds.

Big blaze: A fire destroyed the outbuilding of a Scott County home early Tuesday. Thankfully, no one was injured, but the guest house isn't livable this morning.

Looking for information: A $2,000 reward is being offered for anyone who information that can help police figure out who set several predominantly black churches on fire in the St. Louis area.

What's trending:

A good sign?: It seems as if Star Wars broke the internet... well, Fandango anyways. The Star Wars trailer was so popular that the website temporarily crashed from all the visitors looking to get their opening day tickets.
