MN man dies after rollover crash in Hardin Co.

HARDIN COUNTY, IL (KFVS) -

A man passed away after being ejected from his vehicle during an accident on State Route 1 just south of of Camp Cadiz Road in Hardin County on Monday.

Illinois State Police report a 56-year-old man from St. Paul, Minnesota was traveling northbound along State Route 1 around 4:18 p.m. 

Police say the driver lost control of his pick-up truck as he was entering a curve.

The pick-up truck went off the side of the road and entered a ditch on the east, where it rolled over and cape to rest upside down.

The driver was not wearing his seat belt and was ejected from the truck 

The Hardin County Coroner reports the man died at the scene.

The identity of the victim is not being released yet.

Police are still investigating the crash.
