CHRISTIAN COUNTY, KY (KFVS) - Kentucky State Police say an escaped inmate was found at around 2:59 p.m. on Monday.
According to police, Chad William Love was taken into custody after he was found in a wooded area around Gilliland Lane and Witty Lane, which is north of Hopkinsville.
Police say a Hopkinsville Police Department K-9 tracked and found Love.
He is being taken to the Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment of a dog bite. Once medically cleared, he will be taken to the Christian County Jail.
Police say Love escaped from a Christian County Jail work detail near the Salvation Army in Hopkinsville at 9:18 a.m.
Love was convicted in Christian County for fraudulent use of a credit card over $500 but less than $10,000.
He has previous felony convictions for assault, burglary, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, forgery, theft, and receiving stolen property.
