McCracken Co. woman accused of stealing prescriptions

PADUCAH, KY (KFVS) -

A McCracken County woman was arrested Tuesday after she allegedly stole prescriptions from a man with whom she was living and had them filled at a local pharmacy.

Chris Droge told officials that he and Tina Munsell, 31, of Paducah, had been fighting and after she left their home, he discovered his prescriptions were missing.

Several days later, Droge learned that the prescriptions had been filled at a Paducah pharmacy.

Police obtained surveillance video showing Munsell picking up and paying for the medications.

Munsell was indicted by a McCracken County grand jury on a charge of attempting to or obtaining a controlled substance by fraud, forgery or false statement.

She was arrested Tuesday morning at her place of employment and booked into McCracken County Regional Jail.
