Perry County Missouri to collect hazardous waste

PERRY COUNTY, MO (KFVS) -

Household hazardous waste will be collected in Perry County Missouri this Saturday, Oct. 17.

This is for only Perry County residents and you must bring an ID and a current tax or utility bill.

The collection will take place behind Stonie's from 8 a.m. to noon.

You'll need to enter Progress Dr. off of St. Joseph St. as the Edgemont entrance will be closed.

They will be accepting household items that are poisonous, corrosive, flammable or reactive.

They will not, however, accept commercial waste, latex paint, explosives or medicine.

This household hazardous waste collection is sponsored by the Perry County Sanitary Landfill Committee.
