Police search for 3 persons of interest after woman grazed by bullet in Caruthersville

CARUTHERSVILLE, MO (KFVS) -

Caruthersville police are looking for three persons of interest in connection with a shooting.

According to Police Chief Tony Jones, the three persons of interest could possibly be in Hayti, Mo. or the Quincy, Ill. area.

He said they are considered armed and dangerous.

According to Jones, the three persons of interest are wanted for questioning. They are believed to be from the Quincy, Ill. area and all three were believed to be in a white, 1997 Ford Crown Victoria with Illinois license Y836814.

The three persons of interest include: Daniel J. Williams, a.k.a. "Lil Henry," who is believed to be the owner and driver of the car; Keyar Jamall Sanders; and a third man, only known as "Chicago Joe," who is the alleged shooter.

Police Chief Jones said one woman suffered minor injuries after being grazed by a bullet.

It happened around 10:50 Tuesday morning in the 300 block of East 10th Street.

Jones says it appears the suspect possibly intended to hit people inside a vehicle. He said the vehicle was hit at least twice and officers are talking to those victims.
