Stars and Stripes Museum presents living history timeline

BLOOMFIELD, MO (KFVS) -

The Stars and Stripes Museum is presenting a unique military living history timeline with special programs on Saturday.

"Reflections of History 1860 - Present" will take place on Oct. 17 from 8:30 a.m. through 5 p.m.

The cost is $5 per car.

Visitors will be able to experience special programs and activities throughout the day..

The timeline will give viewers a look at the Civil War, World War I, World War II, Korean, Vietnam and more.

The schedule for the event:

  • 8:30 a.m. - Memorial Service to the Veterans Cemetery. Honor Guard and WWII Veterans
  • 9 a.m. - Caroline and Coby
  • 9:30 a.m. - Uniform and Equipment Demonstration, Red Barn
  • 10:30 a.m. - Weapons Demonstration, designated skirmish area
  • 11 a.m. - Guest Speaker Richard Ford, the museum's library
  • Noon - Missing Man Ceremony, in front of the museum
  • 1:30 p.m. - Uniform and Equipment Demonstration, Red Barn
  • 2 p.m. - Guest Speaker Richard Ford, the museum's library
  • 3 p.m. - Jazz Ensemble, featuring Bloomfield High School band, Red Barn
  • 4 p.m. - Weapons Demonstration, designated skirmish area
