GRAVES COUNTY, KY (KFVS) -

Graves County High School’s Army JROTC sent two teams to compete in Murray State University ROTC’s Best Racer Competition on the MSU campus on Sept. 24.

Six male teams and seven all-female teams competed.

Despite the high school students’ being younger and smaller than their college competitors, the GCHS Raiders won first place in both the male and female categories.

Those participating in the event on the GCHS male team were Alex Ramirez, Andy Brewer, T.J. Fowler and Kaler Luker.

GCHS female competitors included Tiarra Arant, Cherrish Richard, Shyanna Dachs and Ashlyn Todd.
