Captured! Escaped inmate from Paducah halfway house arrested

PADUCAH, KY (KFVS) -

An escaped inmate from a Paducah halfway has been arrested.

A Kentucky State Police trooper arrested Courtney D. Williams, 25, Monday afternoon. 

Williams had escaped from the Keaton Correctional Institution in Paducah.

He was discovered missing early Monday morning from the halfway house after a head count. 

Williams was serving time for possession of controlled substance 1st degree, 1st offense, two counts of trafficking in a controlled substance 1st degree, 1st offense cocaine, trafficking in a controlled substance 1st degree 1st off-cocaine, and engaging in organized crime criminal syndicate.

He was taken to the Christian County Detention facility. 

The Oak Grove Police Department and the Christian County Sheriff’s Office assisted KSP in the arrest.
