A Melber teenager received minor injuries after he ran off the road and flipped his truck in McCracken County on Friday.
At approximately 4:07 p.m., deputies and EMS personnel from McCracken County were sent to a rollover accident involving a single vehicle in the 7500 block of Clinton Road.
The driver of the vehicle, Zachary Hardman, 18, of Melber, was able to climb from his pickup truck before officials arrived and was complaining of only minor injuries.
Hardman says he was driving north on Clinton Road and was rounding a curve when he realized he was across the center line.
He says when he tried to correct his vehicle back into his lane, it lost traction and slid off the road.
After leaving the road, the truck overturned one time and came to rest on the roof, against a tree.
At the time of the accident, the road was damp due to a recent rain shower.
Hardman was transported to Lourdes Hospital where he was treated and released for minor injuries.
